The Felonies "Repetition" Single Review (Pure M)

The Felonies released their debut single ‘Repetition’. It is new. It is fresh.

They are a four-piece young, vibrant, garage and indie rock band from county Wicklow, Ireland. Founded in 2015, the four lads have come a long way from their debut EP Impossible, Impractical. 2016 found them playing Ireland’s most infamous venues like The Button Factory, The Sugar Club, Academy, The Harbour Bar and Whelan’s with their electrifying live set and unique sound.

After their debut EP, a lot was expected from The Felonies and their hard work paid off with the debut single ‘Repetition’. It has vibes of a rock anthem to the indie song.

As the song starts, the catchy guitar draws the listener in making them want to get up and dance along. The mood throughout the entire tune remains positive while making the listener want to head-bang around the room. The melodic refrain brings the tune, It is an infectious debut single.

Influences like Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, and Led Zeppelin shine throughout the tune.

The Felonies are focused on perfecting their music, and it is truly paying off. They will get bigger and bigger and will be another great band coming from Ireland. And more heads will be turning in their direction.

The band is Aaron Meagher on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ryan Mortell on bass and vocals, Andy Connaughton on lead guitar and vocals, and Tom Brady on drums and vocals.
